Sterling Professional Group acquired the Bistro 87 relocation and renovation project through the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) bid process. It was a wonderful success to serve as general contractor and construction project manager on this project with Bialosky Cleveland, a multi-disciplinary design firm acting as architect on this $1M+ relocation and renovation project of the Bistro 87 which is now Alere, located in the Jerry Sue Thornton Center of Cuyahoga Community College, Tri-C, in Cleveland.
Since the renovations, Alere, a student-run restaurant operated by the Hospitality Management program, is the featured restaurant at The Jerry Sue Thornton Center at 2500 E. 22nd Street. The restaurant provides training for students in restaurant operations and dining room operations, which includes fine dining and restaurant buffet service.
